West Ham’s struggles have been well documented this term.
The Hammers have won just two of their last 12 games in all competitions and the pressure has well and truly ramped up on Manuel Pellegrini.
The Chilean has struggled to negate his side through choppy waters and as a result, David Moyes and Eddie Howe have been touted as possible replacements should David Gold and David Sullivan pull the trigger on his job.
However, with a transfer window just around the corner, a decision may have to be made quickly or not at all.
West Ham’s business over the summer looked impressive on the face of it, bringing in Sebastien Haller and Pablo Fornals among others, but it hasn’t paid dividends.

Most recently, though, they’ve been linked with a move for rising star Luka Jovic. The Serbian was in scintillating form at Frankfurt last term and was consequently snapped up by Real Madrid. His start to life in Spain hasn’t been convincing, scoring just once, which means he could face the exit door.
The possibility of Jovic arriving at the London Stadium has filled West Ham fans with absolute jubilation as they pleaded a deal was done.
Jovic, of course, played alongside Haller when they were both playing in the Bundesliga. Last term, the duo bagged a combined 47 strikes between them. 27 of those were scored by the man now linked with a temporary switch to the Irons.
This has got many supporters dreaming of the combination they could strike if they are reunited in the Premier League. One individual said he could see them wreaking havoc and it’s easy to see why after the incredible performances they produced in 2018/19.
With West Ham struggling, this could be a perfect addition to boost morale around the entire club.
A final tweet was directed in the direction of Sullivan, someone who has irked this particular fan for his involvement within the club.
Did he really play for us?! No West Ham fan has managed to name all of these obscure Irons signings….
According to The Sunday Times’ rich list for 2019, he is worth £1.15bn with his son, Jack, involved in the day-to-day running of the women’s team.
For the animosity his father has caused, however, a move for Jovic would see him part-forgiven.
Whether or not the move does happen, it would be a serious statement of intent from West Ham.
In other news, West Ham have finally solved one of their biggest dilemmas…
