Garnacho's attitude on the field has been a major topic of debate as the Argentine winger's future at Manchester United has been questioned. During the Red Devils' 3-2 win over Ipswich Town, new signing Patrick Dorgu was sent off just before half-time, which prompted Amorim to bring Garnacho off for Noussair Mazraoui. However, after half-time, the young winger did not return to the substitute's bench as he stayed in the dressing room.

Amorim has now held 'private talks' with Garnacho, according to the Daily Star, about the incident in the Ipswich game. The Manchester United boss has told the winger he must "work hard and prove he deserves to be a regular starter" for the rest of the season. The Portuguese coach has already had to deal with an unhappy player's attitude issues causing dressing room trouble with Marcus Rashford, and wants to avoid the same situation.
