Manchester United's problems continue to pile up, with the Red Devils travelling by road rather than rail for their next Premier League clash against Tottenham. Signalling problems saw services either delayed or cancelled on Saturday and forced Amorim's men to scrap plans to take a train down to the capital and to jump onto a coach instead. The journey takes almost twice as long by coach – almost four hours – disrupting the club's preparation plans either further.

Sunday's match sees two underperforming teams meet with both desperate for three points. United were beaten by Crystal Palace last time out in the Premier League and have won just eight of their 24 matches so far in the English top flight. Amorim is also having to cope with a growing injury crisis, with Amad Diallo now expected to miss the rest of the season with an ankle injury. The winger, who has been one of the few bright spots in United's dismal season, joins Lisandro Martinez, Mason Mount, Luke Shaw, Kobbie Mainoo, Manuel Ugarte and Toby Collyer on the sidelines.
