According to , Atalanta have not set an official asking price for Lookman but have urged Inter to increase their bid for the Nigerian.

Atalanta signed Lookman from RB Leipzig in 2022, and he has since become a key figure in Bergamo, notably scoring a hat-trick against Bayer Leverkusen in the 2024 Europa League final. Inter’s interest has seen him reject offers from Arsenal, Napoli and Atletico in favour of joining the Nerazzurri. However, with Atalanta and Inter unable to agree on a transfer fee, Lookman has attempted to force the move by going on strike and refusing to attend training.
