Dortmund are set to lock horns with Madrid in the quarter-finals of the Club World Cup this weekend but the two Bellinghams will not line up against one another. That is because the 19-year-old former Sunderland star picked up his second yellow card of the tournament in Dortmund's 2-1 last-16 win over Monterrey on Tuesday, and now he will miss this upcoming clash.

Jobe swapped Sunderland for Dortmund this summer, in a move reminiscent of Jude's switch from Birmingham City to the German giants five years prior. The Madrid man, 22, is arguably one of the best young players in the world, and his teenage brother is hoping to get to that point one day. And while they won't compete against each other on this occasion, time is still on their side for that day to come.

Dortmund boss Niko Kovac revealed Jobe's "surprised" reaction to missing out on a first meeting with his brother in a professional match.
He said: “Okay, he's young. His brother is also young, so I'm convinced they will face each other, maybe next season in the Champions League, and then the future. The future is for them. And yeah, the Club World Cup would be nice, but now it isn't. Someone else must play for him, but it's also okay. I think he did not exactly know that the second yellow card is a suspension at halftime. He was a little bit surprised."
