Full-backs wanted by Saudi giantsHave drawn up three-man shortlistMay only attempt to sign oneWHAT HAPPENED?
Per The Guardian, Hilal are seeking a replacement for Saud Abdulhamid and have drawn up a three-man shortlist of potential big-name acquisitions. Both Walker and Cancelo are on that list, as is Bayer Leverkusen's Jeremie Frimpong. Trent Alexander-Arnold had been a target initially but the England international made it clear he had no interest in moving to Saudi Arabia.

While Walker was interested in moving to Germany when there was interest from Bayern Munich last summer, City are said to have no intention of allowing him to leave this time around. Cancelo spent last season out on loan, playing for Barcelona, and was excluded from the club's squad to play Chelsea at the weekend. Guardiola has admitted that he could leave.
DID YOU KNOW?
After interest from Bayern emerged and Walker decided to stay at the club, he signed a new contract, which runs until 2026. As such, he is unlikely to head to pastures new this summer, but the same cannot be said of Cancelo, who may well deem a move to Saudi Arabia as a chance to reignite a stalling career.
