It is not very often that Liverpool and Manchester United fans come to an agreement.
The rivalry between the two clubs is one of the fiercest in the sport, but both had the same opinion when it came to the PFA Premier League Team of the Year.
Liverpool and United had one representative each in the first XI in the form of Mohamed Salah and David de Gea respectively.
Many Liverpool fans were in uproar about the fact that Roberto Firmino was not included, while many felt that Andrew Robertson deserved the nod.
The Scotsman started life at Anfield out in the wilderness following his move from Hull City last summer.
However, once Alberto Moreno suffered an injury, Robertson grasped the opportunity and has not looked back.
The 24-year-old has become a huge fan favourite on Merseyside for his no-nonsense approach and work ethic on the pitch.
Despite his huge improvement, Robertson was not handed the left-back slot in PFA Team of the Year.
Instead, Chelsea’s Marcos Alonso took the position in the first XI, which was met with confusion from Liverpool fans.
Surprisingly, some United supporters joined their rivals on Twitter to criticise Robertson’s snub.
