Middlesbrough teenager Marcus Tavernier trained with the England senior squad on Thursday ahead of the upcoming internationals against Spain and Switzerland.
Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate only has 18 outfield players to choose from having decided against calling up replacements for injured pair Raheem Sterling and Adam Lallana.
As a result, Southgate has dipped into the Under-20 squad, with Tavernier and Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah given the opportunity to train with the senior side.
Tavernier has spent the last five years with Boro, and has scored twice in 13 first-team appearances for the Championship outfit.

The 19-year-old spent the second half of the 2017-18 campaign on loan at MK Dons in League One, but is back at the Riverside Stadium this term, and has already made five appearances in the early stages of the new season.
